Tidemark - Diamond Beach

Two storey absolute beachfront home with timber floors, open living areas, and ocean views. This holiday home has everything for a fabulous holiday! It includes two living areas each with an LCD TV, DVD/CD/Video and stereo amplifier. There is a main balcony upstairs, a sheltered balcony downstairs and two other small balconies. Outdoor settings are included.

There are four bedrooms - the master bedroom upstairs has a queen bed and ensuite with shower, toilet and vanity. The main bedroom downstairs also has a queen bed and the other two bedrooms each have two single beds. Additionally there is a double sofa bed in the winter room.

The downstairs three way bathroom includes a large spa bath and shower, separate vanity and separate toilet while the upstairs bathroom has a shower, toilet and vanity.

The fully equipped Caesarstone kitchen has European appliances including a dishwasher, microwave and a large fridge. The kitchenette downstairs has a microwave and bar fridge. The laundry has a washing machine and dryer and there is a small clothes line outside. In the courtyard there is a gas BBQ, surfboard racks and a heated outdoor shower, which is great after a swim.

Back of property faces ocean, there is beach entry from the enclosed yard - though it is through the sand dunes. This Beach is only patrolled during the summer holidays

Bedding includes 2 Queen beds, 4 Singles.

A $700 security deposit is required on each booking and held against your current credit card.

Please note guests are responsible for providing their own linen for this property (sheets, pillowcases, beach towels, bath towels and tea towels). Doona's and pillows are provided only.

  The house is situated in an excellent location, with direct access to the beach through the back fence. It offers ample space, but it requires a thorough cleaning. The primary reason for choosing this location was the view; however, upon reaching the top of the stairs, the view is obscured by dirty windows. Although we attempted to clean with spray and wipes, the entire house, including door tracks, windows, and balconies, needs a comprehensive cleaning.
  Additionally, the refrigerator barely kept items cold, and the door needed to be checked to ensure it was properly closed. The freezer did not freeze ice, which, although it may seem minor, is an issue considering the nightly rate. Overall, it is a great spot with a generous size, but it needs to be maintained better, and the refrigerator should be replaced.

  We are regulars at this holiday rental, we love it. The house is in a perfect spot. Our family had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean, the kitchen very well appointed.
  My only wish would be, swapping one of the single beds with a double. There is plenty of room in the downstairs bedroom where there are currently 2 singles. This would be perfect to accommodate older children or adults.

  Another stay for us at Tidemark. We had a great holiday as always and the house was very clean. The newly repolished floorboards upstairs looked fantastic and a new BBQ. Wonderful! There was a bit of an issue with the electrics due to some very heavy rain. An electrician was called promptly by the property management. Again, I would say I would love there to be a double bed in the downstairs bedroom to replace one of the single beds. Our children are now grown, and another double downstairs would be great.

  Location is excellent but house was not clean. Food scraps in the bottom of the dishwasher, dining table with sauce and crumbs all over it. And when we took the rubbish to the bin outside it was full to the lid. Also, the garage remote didn't work which was a pain. Such a shame because it's a great place.

  This was the second time staying in this rental, the first was in June 2020. Since the first trip was a wild success we decided to head back.
  
  The checkin process was seamless, however upon entering the property it became quickly apparent that the quality of the upkeep and maintenance had declined significantly.
  
  The floors were grimy, there was rubbish on the ground and sand everywhere (including the lounge). I raised this with staff upon checkout, and whilst the stay was incredibly enjoyable, it was disappointing that the place seemed a bit dirty and unloved. The walls need a good clean, as do the beautiful high ceilings. It would have been nice for the windows to be cleaned given the view of beach, but given the latest weather it's understandable they would get dirty quickly.
  
  Overall i would definitely recommend booking this place as the location is incredible, the house is well stocked with the essentials, but it truly needs a team to come through and deep clean it properly.

  This property is a wonderful location.
  We booked this property in January 2021 from 2nd Jan to 9th 2022, this was all confirmed and deposit taken only to find out by the next payment receipt that our booking date had changed to 7th January to 14th January 2022, no one had contacted us to let us know.
  When we arrived the property still had sand on the floors and was not clean properly
  All the properties we have hired in the past came with bed linen this property we had to supply our own, which was ok but what they supplied was all stained.
  Bugs were in the bedroom downstairs and didn’t mater how much we spray they were there the next day.
  This place needs a really good clean.

  we arrived to the property on 17/01 at 2 PM and we found out the following:
  Cleaning issues:
  - Property cleaning was not finished
  - Even after waiting for the cleaner to finish the property was not clean, there was sand in the rooms, chips packets behind the beds as per the pics, insects all over the rooms and cobwebs as per the pics in all corners of the rooms
  Functionality issues:
  - power points not working in the house
  - TV upstairs not working
  - Antenna doesn’t work
  - Dryer doesn’t work
  - Lights don’t work in the bedrooms and bathroom
  - top bathroom door lock doesn’t work
  - flyscreen me have holes
  - Garage door doesn’t work
  We contacted the realestate agent at haliday point many times and there was no answer.
  They fixed the electrical issues and dry cleaner on the third day.
  I won’t stay there again or book through haliday point accommodation again.

    Thanks for your review! We are sorry that you were not happy with the property and our management office. As you can see from the previous reviews, Tidemark is a highly rated property with great reviews and is our most solidly booked property. Firstly, I would like to correct the electrical issues that you have stated. Due to a new fault with the dryer, a section of the power had been switched off by the circuit breaker. When we asked you about this on the phone, you said that all of the circuits were on. Once the electrician arrived, he rectified the problems immediately and we replaced the dryer with a new one. The garage door was fine and all other power points and lights were as well. As for the cleaning, we advised you that the cleaner was running behind for that property and you stood around waiting, so she was under pressure to race through and get the property cleaned. We take pride in keeping our properties to the best standard possible. We did offer to send around another cleaner when you called, but you declined. We also refunded $300 towards the cost of cleaning and also the time you had advised us that you spent cleaning, although after the condition you left the property, we doubt that you had cleaned at all.. The house was super spacious, perfect for families or large groups. Equipped kitchen, two living spaces. Beds were comfy. Could not fault the uninterrupted view of the beach either.
