This 4 bedroom home is ideal for a family getaway. It has ocean views and is only a minutes walk to beach. There is a new kitchen with microwave and dishwasher. It has a large open plan living and dining area, with air conditioner and ceiling or pedestal fans in each room, big bright bathroom with bath. There is a 2nd toilet & shower downstairs. Deck with outdoor seating, table tennis, Large TV, video, DVD, stereo/cd, gas BBQ, reverse-cycle air conditioning, fenced yard.
Sleeps 8- 3 Queen beds, 2 King singles.

A $700 security deposit is required on each booking and held against your current credit card.

Please note guests are responsible for providing their own linen for this property (sheets, pillowcases, beach towels, bath towels and tea towels). Doona's and pillows are provided only.

  Accommodation staff very good. Premises unfortunately in poor condition with sloping floors on the perimeter due to conversion of old verandah into the building. Would not recommend this property to anyone as I'm sure there are others much better. We also occupied Parkview - 1/1 Surfview Ave. which was fabulous.

  We stayed at Moondoggie for a week. It is in a great spot, close to the beach, and was spacious enough for the whole family. Unfortunately it was an extremely hot week and the fans in the bedrooms couldn’t make the rooms comfortable at night. The lounge room air conditioner was helpful during the day. It was mostly clean and comfortable, although the dishes were dirty when we arrived because the dishwasher is not very efficient. There was no washing powder and all the cleaning products were ancient and empty. But the rental company were very responsive and helpful.

  Fabulous location, lots of space, but property needing some basic attention.
  One light/fan not working in lounge; one bedside lamp not working & bare wiring exposed at entry point to fitting (we left it on games cupboard - please remove for safety); back door knob won’t lock, so keyed lock needs to be used at all times - would make emergency evacuation problematic (we left the key in lock during our stay, but others may not realise this risk).
  West-facing bedrooms VERY hot! External awnings or planting of tall shrubs would help a lot! (Aircon in living area is good, but takes effort to circulate cooled air to these bedrooms ie using fans.)

  We always enjoy our stay. The view is so beautiful and the community so friendly. The property is a bit worn down and in need of some maintenance. The balcony in particular. There are no real working reading lamps and the back bedrooms are very hot and in need of new blinds. The linen on the ged needed washing which i did. We still had a wonderful time.

  Great house, well equipped. Kids loved the deep baths and ping pong table. Great to check surf conditions from the balcony before heading to beach (100m max walk). Super convenient to shops and eating venues. No need for the car once you arrive, walk everywhere!

  The best thing about this house is its location, Hallidays Point is a beautiful spot and this house is close to most things, walking distance which makes your holiday more relaxing and restfull.
  Great roomy house but furniture needs updating, also needs a really good clean, eg spiders and cobwebs everywhere. Downstairs needs a very good clean and mop out plus old stuff needs to be thrown out. Large new kitchen was great with plenty of crockery, utensils, pots and pans. We would come back to spend time in this beach house again.

  Ultra convenient location between Forster and Taree (20 minutes to either).
  Very quiet and peaceful area but with great amenities. You could easily stay here for a month without having to drive anywhere as the local grocery store has everything you need and is only a 5 minute stroll. Decent coffee, a butcher and bakery as well as a pub that has excellent food and a bowling club and surf club are just as close.
  I've stayed here many times and will stay here again many more!

  Moondoggie Beach House has a way of making you feel relaxed and comfortable as soon as you get out of the car. Its a 5 min walk to the shops or the tavern for dinner. Start you day with a bbq breakfast on the veranda the take a stroll across to the beach, or the ocean pool for a swim. Behind the surf club is a rain forest track that takes you to a look out tower to see the expanse of Halidays coastline. Join in Sunday Sippers at the surf club or walk up the hill to the bowling club for bare foot bowls. Return to Moondoggie Beach House for plenty of space and all the comforts of home. Where the kookaburras greet you in the morning and the sound of waves crash on shore all day and lull you to sleep at night.
